You need to get a lot busier in your life. Classes, clubs, get outside your own mind, outside yourself. You’re dwelling on your own feelings and what you eat or don’t eat. What you think. Dwell on bigger problems. Join Habitat for Humanity and build houses for poor people. Join the Red Cross and send supplies to vicitms of fires and floods. Find a local pet rescue and help them with the animals. There is so much to do in the world besides counting calories !
Here is my stock answer on anxiety, and depression and nutrition. I healed myself after being devistated over a hurt child, and going crazy hyper, then anorexic, and being hospitilized. Most mental illness is toxin or nutrition caused.

I think that your metabolism is off. I’m guessing that you don’t eat a lot of fresh vegetables, nuts, and fish and eggs.

There is a safe, anti anxiety tonic drops, that you can get at It’s called ” Distress Remedy” and it’s tintcures of flowers. That will help when you’re having an attack.

But to get the problem to STOP you need to get your minerals and omega oils balanced in your body, and that will help balance your hormones.

Just like when someone gets drunk, they act funny , or mooshy, or slur their words etc…. because they have too much alcohol in their body… If you’re low on Omega 3s, Vitamin E, Vitamin D, Co-Q-10, and minerals especially Chromium and Vanadium and other trace minerals…Your brain just won’t work right. You can have mood swings, or anxiety.

A great source of nutrition for those who don’t always eat right is Monavie Juice. Super antioxidents, enzymes, and trace minerals.
Or Noni Juice, that helps our body actually make serotonin the hormone that gives you the “runners high” and lifts your mood like exercise.

Take 1000-2000 mg of Vitamin D a day, Take Flax Seed oil capsules for the Omega 3’s, eat eggs for breakfast, get yourself a good all minerals suppliment with all the trace minerals, eat Cashew nuts (they remove fear and panic ) and study up on nutrition and emotions and mental health.

It’s your body, and doctors won’t heal you naturally. You’re better off with a naturalist than with doctors wanting to stick you full of medicines, and have you talk about your problems forever… They just treat the symptoms. You need to cure the inbalances.

your not psychotic. anorexics have “voices” that tell them their not good enough. the truth is, its themselves telling themselves that their not good enough.

i believe that even though your at a “healthy” weight that you should get into a group therapy type center. going through this with someone who has the same problems can make the difference. and they usually teach ways of eating healthy, and not just make you eat.

The next time your “voice” starts talking to you, don’t listen to what its saying, but listen to what you were feeling before the thought came up. write it down. you may see that the feelings before the thoughts are similar. that may be where the true problem is lieing.

don’t purge. i used to purge and i had to get my tonsils out because of it. i had scar tissue forming on it. it was so not worth it.

honey, im praying for your peace and healing. remember you are a creation of God and He doesn’t make mistakes. =)

I am a recovering anorexic, I was hospitalized 2 times. The first time I was extremely underweight. I was in very bad shape. I went into recovery for 6 years and then life got stressful again so the eating disorder came back in full force. So I was hospitalized again. But this time was different. It was 6 months ago, and I was totally exhausted and sick of fighting, so I checked myself in the hospital. I was very open to what all the doctors had to say. That is very important, you must be willing to listen!!! I met this amazing phycologist that made me realize that everybodies actions are not my fault. You are not to blame for what other people did.
You will probably see a team of doctors. Phycolgist, phyciatrist, family doctor and a dietition. You will make a very specific meal plan. They will run a lot of tests on you, like blood tests to check your electrolites, a urine test to see how dehydrated you are, blood pressure & they will check your heart. After all that they will get down to business. They will try to get you to understand that your issue has nothing to do with food, but more about control and the fact that you do it because you are good at it. It is the one thing that you are good at. You can control what you put in your mouth, right?
Well all this may be true, but they will teach you other coping skills for dealing with the hurt, pain and shame that you feel. If you want help, you will use these coping skills. Some of them are very simple and some of them are very hard. Example: When you dont want to eat, have a friend talk you through the meal. That may sound lame but it works if you actually do it. When you need help, ASK!!! Email me if you want more advice.
