It’s difficult for anyone to give a diagnosis over the internet, but from what you’ve described, it sounds to me like you’re in the beginning stages of an eating disorder or just developing one. Technically, this might be considered an eating disorder not otherwise specfied (EDNOS). Please be careful and make an effort to eat healthfully – I’m in recovery for an eating disorder, and it’s very hard to stop once you’ve developed an eating disorder, so please make the effort now to stop this pattern before it gets any worse.
Right now, you’re at the lower end of a range of healthy weights for your height, and losing 10 pounds in one month is a large amount of weight to lose. Don’t feel guilty about regaining some, and remember that your views of eating “too much” may be slightly skewed because of the amount you have been eating recently.
An eating disorder is very serious, and even though this has only been going on for a month and even though you’ve only purged a few times, it’s a problem. Any eating disorder has serious physical and psychological consequences, and you should get help as soon as possible from a nutritionist and psychologist who specialize in eating disorders.
Right now, I think that this would probably be considered the beginning stages of an eating disorder or possibly EDNOS, which means that you don’t fit the diagnostic criteria for either anorexia or bulimia. I also don’t think that you have body dysmorphic disorder, which is a focus on one aspect of the appearance and is a different, but sometimes co-occuring condition.
I hope that this helped, and if you need more information on eating disorders, this website is very helpful:
