well I used eating disorders as an outlet for my BiPolar swings.
and yes-people who have eating disorders also generally have other mental health issues..
a way to learn on eating disorders is going to this website and checking out what it says it may give you links to help too
well that’s an interesting question, at 51 and looking back on a life racked with binging and starvation, I always saw it as a means of control, feeling the need to control something in what usually seemed like uncontrollable or out of control situations. I was diagnosed as manic til 9 years ago after two of my brothers died unexpectedly, one from *******. That coupled with a high stress job and a very brittle marriage brought a lot of “issues” to the surface….so now I wonder. Are possibly all bi-polars pron to eating disorders while perhaps not all suffering from eating disorders are bi-polar..very interesting.

I am bi- polar and OCD. I either binge or starve myself. I’m 51 and never had “normal” eating habits.
