Yes, please get help right now before this can progress into an eating disorder. You should see a nutritionist or dietician and a psychologist who can help you to deal with the shame you feel about eating and the feelings underlying your problematic eating habits. There are much healthier ways to lose weight than what you are doing right now. It is typically recommended that a person consume 1200 or more calories per day to avoid putting the body into starvation mode, and most people need 2000 calories per day. Eating only once per day will slow your metabolism down and can create a habit of binge eating.
Instead, aim to consume a minimum of 1200 calories per day, and eat at least three meals every day at well-spaced intervals. Try to increase your exercise until you’re in the habit of exercising 1/2 to 1 hour every day. Focus on correcting portion distortion and learning about the nutritional facts of foods instead of simply limiting the amount of food you allow yourself to consume. Try to eat more fruits and vegetables but remember that it’s okay to treat yourself to an occasional sweet.
There are so much better and healthier ways to lose weight than what you are doing right now – I’m anorexic and now in recovery, so I know from personal experience that extreme diets result in physical harm to your body, a decreased metabolism and an obsession with and fear of food.
I hope that this advice has helped
