I’m sorry to hear that. You seem fixated on reasons why you can’t do the things you should be doing. You want a simple answer on how to mentally overcome your problem on your own, but it doesn’t work like that. If people could get over this problem on their own using a few simple words from a stranger, this problem wouldn’t exist.
The truth is that, like any compulsive behavior, bulimia and anorexia needs to be addressed by a doctor and or a support group. While it would great for your Dad to help you with this, you don’t need his assistance for help. Eating disorder support group are free and open to all ages. It’s up to you to realize that you have to take an active role in getting yourself help and follow through with it.
