Most eating disorders are not about being slim or anything, they’re about control, patients feel that they have no control in their lives, that it’s the other people around them who controls their lives, so, what they do is controlling the only thing they think they can: Eating.
not eating at all, or vomiting after gives them the feel that they’re in control of their own lives.
Why do they feel this way?, How to deal with the real problem? That’s what therapy is for. Some patients were abused as children (physically, psychologically, both), or grew up in a very dysfunctional environment.
I do have to tell you, you need therapy. But i also understand therapy is not for free.
Try to do some real insight. Think how did this start, when, what was going on in you life when it start, how did it made you feel, maybe you can get some idea about the true origin of this. Ask your parents, or close relatives, they will give you an idea on how did they perceive you. Be prepared for some strong fighting when you ask them, you will not hear nice things, but it is all part of a healing process

Stop shoving your finger down your throat; or don’t! No one can stop it but you…good luck.
